GMC Debuts Hummer EV Icon 25 with Signature Yellow Hue
General Motors Company is paying tribute to the legacy of the Hummer H2 with a new special edition of its all-electric supertruck. GMC has unveiled the Hummer EV Icon 25, a limited-run version featuring the brand’s historically significant yellow paintwork to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the original H2’s debut.
Available in both pickup and SUV body styles, the Icon 25 brings back the yellow shade that served as the flagship launch color for the H2 in 2002. While the H2 carried this color through its production run until the 2009 model year, the modern EV application applies it as part of a high-contrast exterior. The vehicle maintains the standard Hummer EV architecture with black cladding on the roof and wheel arches.
Inside, the tribute model is equipped with a Jet Black interior. Designers used the signature yellow sparingly within the cabin, reserving it primarily for a serialized dashboard plaque that identifies each specific unit. The interior also features white stitching, contrasting with the exterior’s brighter aesthetic. GMC has not disclosed the specific production volume for this limited edition.
As of the latest market check, General Motors Company is trading at $76.98, representing a slight decline of 0.28%. The automaker maintains a market capitalization of approximately $69.43 billion.
