Spy photographers have captured the upcoming Sportage undergoing testing in Europe, signaling that the automaker is preparing to launch a significant update to its popular compact SUV. While the prototype is heavily camouflaged, the visible bodywork suggests a shift in design philosophy. The new model appears to be moving away from the curvaceous styling of the current generation in favor of a more rugged, linear aesthetic. This approach mirrors the design language found on the brand’s larger Telluride and the smaller Seltos, characterized by a taller and more upright front end. The profile reveals a flatter beltline and a more angular A-pillar, contributing to a boxier overall silhouette.
