A unique Ferrari N.V.-inspired Porsche Carrera GT is scheduled to cross the auction block during Monterey Car Week next month. Listed by Mecum Auctions, the supercar is distinguished by a finish that deviates significantly from the model’s traditional factory palette.

While the majority of Carrera GTs left the production line in various shades of silver, this specific example has been repainted in Rosso Fuoco, a vibrant red typically associated with Ferrari’s luxury performance sports cars. The vehicle belongs to Milton Verret, a prominent collector of Ferrari vehicles, who reportedly commissioned the color change to align with his collection’s aesthetic. The repaint process was extensive, requiring three months to complete.

Underneath the custom exterior, the car retains its original mechanical specifications. It is powered by a 5.7-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine that generates 603 horsepower. The vehicle shows relatively low usage, with the odometer reading just 3,471 miles.

The market for the Carrera GT has seen increased interest in recent years, though this particular model’s altered factory finish may present a unique variable for bidders. The auction has not yet released a pre-sale estimate for the car.
