TGI to Distribute Nobhex Tires in Florida, Oregon, Washington

Tire Group International (TGI) has entered an exclusive agreement with Aztema to represent and distribute the Nobhex tire brand in Florida, Oregon and Washington. Aztema manufactures Nobhex at its facility in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico. Under the agreement, TGI will serve as the exclusive distributor in the three U.S. markets. The agreement combines Aztema’s manufacturing with TGI’s distribution network, market experience and customer relationships.

For both companies, the agreement is centered on establishing Nobhex as a meaningful long-term brand rather than simply introducing another tire into the market.

Nobhex Tire Brand Targets Long-Term Growth

“There is no shortage of tires in the marketplace. What excites us about Nobhex is the opportunity to build a brand that has real value throughout the distribution chain,” said Joaquin Gonzalez, president of Tire Group International. “For a brand to be successful, the manufacturer, distributor and dealer all need an opportunity to succeed with it. Our focus will be on distribution, support and creating a brand our customers can believe in and grow with.”

Nobhex offers passenger, SUV and light truck tires positioned for several key market segments. Dealers can align tire sales, maintenance and automotive repair services with these applications based on local demand. Those services include wheel alignment, balancing and TPMS service.

“From the beginning, our vision for Nobhex has been to create more than a tire, we want to establish a brand with long-term value,” said Gonzalo Santamarina, shareholder of Aztema. “TGI understands that philosophy. Their experience, customer relationships and approach to distribution make them an ideal partner as we continue building Nobhex in the marketplace.”

Agreement Fits TGI Distribution Footprint

The agreement aligns with TGI’s strategy of selectively adding brands that complement its portfolio and create opportunities for customers.

The exclusive territories match TGI’s existing distribution footprint. They also provide a foundation for further development of the Nobhex brand.
