Autogem celebrates fifth NTDA Tyre Industry Award in six years

Autogem has celebrated its fifth win in six years at the NTDA Tyre Industry Awards 2026, saying the accolades underline “an unwavering commitment to customer service, training, innovation and continuous improvement.” The company claimed the newly introduced Best Supply Chain Partner Award, sponsored by Blackcircles. The award was highly contested, with the largest number of entries among all the awards in 2026.
NTDA chief executive officer Ian Andrew highlighted that the judging panel selected Autogem due to its strong commitment to genuine, long-term partnerships. “This was the first year of the Best Supply Chain Award, which had the largest volume of entries, reflecting the wide range of companies that supply the tyre sector including aftermarket suppliers, tyre distributors, software providers and recruitment partners. Sponsored by Blackcircles, we were delighted that the judging panel selected Autogem as the worthy winner.
“The judges got a true sense of Autogem’s commitment to partnerships. Their partnership philosophy defines everything they do and I believe this is what clinched it for them.”
Supporting more than 5,000 workshops nationwide, Autogem focuses on delivering tailored technical support, advanced TPMS technology, and comprehensive training rather than standard transactional sales.
Managing director Prashant Chopra attributed the success to the company’s strong staff culture and drive to support customers and suppliers: “People often ask me what the formula is. The recipe is simple: having selfless colleagues that genuinely care for our customers and each other. It is a deep culture that has built up over time and we are particularly protective of it when taking on new team members.
“It means a great deal to everyone here because we know how much work goes into delivering the right service, day after day. This award belongs to the whole team as well as our customer and supplier partners that help us shape our programs.”
Chopra said that while the five-win milestone is an incredible achievement, the business remains focused on continuous improvement. “We’ve never wanted to be a business that simply completes a transaction and moves on. We want to understand our customers, support them properly and build relationships that last.”
Chopra added that the company does not intend to sit on its laurels. “Winning five times in six years is an incredible achievement, but we can’t sit back and think we’ve cracked it,” he said. “The industry keeps changing, our customers’ needs keep changing and we have to keep getting better. We listen, we learn and we look for ways to improve.
“That’s what makes this award so special, it gives us the motivation to relentlessly keep pushing forward.”
