Vaculug was formally presented with The King’s Award for Enterprise during a ceremony at its head office in Grantham. The honour was bestowed by the Lord-Lieutenant of Lincolnshire. Considered the highest official award for British businesses, The King’s Award highlights Vaculug’s commitment to sustainable manufacturing and circular economy practices within the commercial vehicle sector.

“Receiving the King’s Award for Enterprise is a proud moment for everyone at Vaculug,” said Jorge Crespo, managing director. “This honour is a testament to the dedication, hard work and technical innovation of our entire team in Grantham. It highlights our commitment to delivering sustainable solution for the commercial vehicle market while keeping manufacturing thriving in Lincolnshire.”

Local press, company leadership, and staff gathered to witness the presentation of the official Grant of Appointment scroll.

The King’s Award for Enterprise programme, which is in its 58th year, celebrates outstanding achievements by UK businesses, with winners authorised to fly the official King’s Award flag and display the emblem for five years.
