HRC Performance Parts for Hondas and Acuras Go on Sale Next March

October 22, 2026 · by APW Pipeline
  • HRC Performance Parts will be available to purchase for Honda and Acura vehicles starting in March 2027.
  • The initial line includes a lightweight aluminum wheel for the Civic Type R and Integra Type S and an off-road aluminum wheel for the Passport and Pilot.
  • There’s also a cat-back exhaust developed with Borla for the Passport and Pilot, and HRC is looking into expanding with brakes, suspension, and a short-throw shifter.

Back in 2024, Honda announced that its Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) division would launch a catalog of performance parts that customers could purchase to upgrade their Honda or Acura vehicles. The program was previewed by the Acura Integra Type S HRC prototype, as well as a Passport HRC prototype in 2025, but Honda has since said little about when the parts would finally become available. Now, it has revealed that the HRC Performance Parts line will launch at the 2026 SEMA show in Las Vegas and go on sale starting in March 2027.

Honda

The HRC Performance Parts program will kick off with three parts. First up is a new lightweight 19×10-inch forged-aluminum wheel for the Honda Civic Type R and Acura Integra Type S. The wheel, which is 0.5 inch wider than the factory wheel, was developed with Italian company 2elle-engineering, which also supplies the wheels for the Acura ARX-06 race car.

The wheel has a gray finish and a thin-spoke design, echoing the look of the ARX-06’s wheels, but it can also be had in bronze to reference the Honda RA272, the first Japanese car to win a Formula 1 race. The wheel weighs 20.8 pounds (5.5 pounds less than the factory wheel) and was tested at the Nürburgring in Germany. Along with reducing unsprung mass, the wheel has increased negative offset to widen the track width at the front and rear for better handling. The wheel is compatible with 2023-and-newer Civic Type R and 2024-and-newer Integra Type S.

Honda

HRC has also developed an 18×8-inch forged-aluminum off-road wheel, designed for the 2026-and-newer Passport and 2023-and-newer Pilot SUVs. HRC collaborated with Titan 7, which has supplied the wheels used for HRC’s runs at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. HRC says the wheel is made from aircraft-grade 6061 aluminum and was forged with 10,000 tons of pressure to make it extra strong while minimizing weight.

Each off-road wheel permits an increase of 220 pounds of load capacity over the factory wheel and can be had in Machine Black or Techna Bronze. There is also “Honda Racing” branding machined into the wheel face.

Last but certainly not least, HRC teamed up with Borla for a new tuned cat-back exhaust system, also for the Passport and Pilot. HRC says that the new exhaust setup increases flow rate by up to 6 percent and uses Borla’s “Polyphonic Harmonizer” tech to highlight the sound of Honda’s 3.5-liter V-6. The exhaust’s compact design also improves ground clearance by up to 1.9 inches, and the exhaust tips feature the HRC logo.

The parts will be available through Honda and Acura dealerships, as well as through Honda’s online “DreamShop” starting in March 2027. In the future, Honda will expand the breadth of HRC parts and will show prototypes at SEMA, including adjustable coilovers, a Brembo brake kit with six-piston calipers, and a short-throw shifter.
