Chery And Brand Ambassador Peter Crouch Showcase Next-Generation Mobility At Global User Summit

Global reveals of the all-new TIGGO 7 and TIGGO X7 were the highlights of Chery’s breathtaking Global User Summit

WUHU, CHINA, October 23, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The 2026 Chery Global User Summit provided media, customers, and the public with a stunning showcase of how the brand’s vehicles are integrated into a far-reaching, future-oriented global mobility and technology strategy, bringing together clean energy solutions, robotics, and AI.

Held under the philosophy of ‘Together. For Family’, Chery Brand Night was headlined by the global reveals of the all-new TIGGO 7 and TIGGO X7 at the Wuhu Grand Theatre.

Designed around the real-world demands of modern family life, these SUVs were joined on stage by families from around the world, and Chery brand ambassadors and football legends Peter Crouch and Edwin van der Sar, all sharing their own experiences of family life and how their vehicles help them make the most of everyday activities and weekend adventures.

At the Chery Branding Exhibition, visitors experienced for themselves what ‘For Family’ means in practice. Models from the brand’s diverse global model range, including the all-electric Chery Q hatchback – fresh from its appearance at the Paris Motor Show and the Chery Stockman pick-up – clearly demonstrated how Chery puts families at the heart of mobility, using dependable technology to address their needs for safety and comfort.

Alongside the vehicles, an AI-powered AiMOGA humanoid robot was on display, together with a quadruped robot that interacted with visitors. These robots leverage the full capabilities of Chery’s Global R&D resources, supply chain, and mass production processes.

Farrell Hsu, Managing Director at Chery UK, said: “What we presented at our Global User Summit is a clear demonstration of the incredible speed at which we’re developing new customer-focused technologies, together with a clear long-term future strategy that integrates AI, robotics, and smart energy infrastructure.

“As Chery continues to expand its presence in the UK, backed by our new R&D centre at UTAC Millbrook, our customers can be confident that they are choosing a brand with immense technological strength and proven global engineering expertise.”

In Cities and in the skies: Mobility taken to the next level

Designed for autonomous, shared urban mobility, Chery presented a Robotaxi for global markets that is capable of Level 4 autonomy. Driven by Falcon Pilot intelligent driving technology, the vehicle supports fully automated passenger pick-ups, drop-offs, and coordinated charging operations with autonomous mobile charging robots. Chery’s intelligent driving systems have completed certifications under international regulatory frameworks, including UN/ECE.

Demonstrating the sheer breadth of Chery’s technological know-how, visitors also saw the Lingxiao J506 passenger-carrying electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.

Utilising the same core technological foundation as the Robotaxi, this revolutionary machine is the designed to achieve a top speed exceeding 350 km/h and a range of more than 1,000 km.

Vehicle-to-Grid: Unlocking value in distributed energy networks

Beyond mobility, Chery also demonstrated its Volt-dragon ultra-fast charging technology and a vehicle-to-grid (V2G) smart energy demonstration station, integrating solar power generation, battery storage and megawatt-level ultra-fast charging into a local microgrid.

Through bidirectional V2G technology, EVs can serve as mobile energy storage units. By feeding electricity back into the grid when needed, participating vehicles can help balance demand and support more efficient energy management.

Chery’s integrated solar, energy storage and charging solutions have also demonstrated commercial potential in Europe. At an electric heavy-truck facility in Spain, a solar-plus-storage microgrid has replaced diesel-powered electricity generation, significantly reducing operating costs.

Building on these applications, Chery plans to establish 20,000 V2G-enabled stations worldwide by 2029. The initiative is intended to provide practical energy solutions for markets with less-developed electricity infrastructure and supporting the transition towards more sustainable transportation.
