BendPak Opens Distribution Center in Connecticut

BendPak announced the opening of its third distribution center, expanding its delivery network to reach 92% of the U.S. population in two days or less. The new BendPak distribution center in Milford, Connecticut serves New England, the Mid-Atlantic and parts of the Great Lakes region.
BendPak operates two additional distribution hubs. Its Santa Paula, California, facility serves the western U.S., while its Theodore, Alabama, location covers most of the Midwest and South. Together, the three facilities provide next-day or two-day shipping to 40 states and Washington, D.C.
By decentralizing inventory and integrating predictive stocking across all three hubs, BendPak said it aims to reduce order fulfillment and shipping transit times. The company also said the strategy curbs secondary shipping emissions and minimizes regional delays that can disrupt national supply chains.
“This Northeast distribution center marks a milestone in our commitment to customer-centric growth,” says Derek Burns, BendPak director of distribution center operations – East. “In addition to scaling our footprint, we’re redefining what reliability looks like for our dealers and end-user customers. Reaching 92% of Americans in two days or less means our customers get what they need, when they need it, with unprecedented speed.”
BendPak Distribution Center Expansion
Over the last nine years, BendPak said it has expanded its product portfolio and geographic footprint. The company introduced brands including Autostacker, JackPak, Ergochair and APEX.
New products include OctaFlex and AP Series two-post lifts, Mobi-EVS Series EV battery lifts, and Coolee portable air coolers.
During that period, the privately held company expanded its Santa Paula manufacturing and distribution center twice. The facility now covers more than 400,000 sq. ft.
BendPak also established a global headquarters in Agoura Hills, California. In Alabama, it expanded operations from a single distribution center in Theodore into a multi-building campus.
Earlier this year, BendPak completed Phase 1 of its Donald R. Henthorn Industrial Complex in Mobile County, Alabama.
Northeast Facility Supports Logistics Network
The Connecticut facility represents another step in BendPak’s long-term distribution strategy. The company continues to refine its logistics network to improve delivery times and support customers across the United States.
“In today’s marketplace, business moves faster than ever, and BendPak is positioned to outpace it,” Jeff Kritzer, president and CEO said. “Our Northeast expansion is just the latest step in our long-term plan to continuously refine our logistics network to optimize delivery times and best serve our customers.”
