Peugeot 3008 and 5008 recalled due to wrong tyre labelling

An as yet unknown number of Peugeot 3008 and 5008 cars have received a recall notice due to faulty tyre labelling.
A 21 October EU Safety Gate announcement (OR/00115/26) notes that Peugeot 3008 V3 and 5008 V3 cars feature some vehicles “registered with class A+ tyres, while the tyres actually fitted are class B. Therefore, the CO₂ emissions declared in the certificate of conformity, which are related to the tyre class, are incorrect.”
As a result, effective 1 July 2026, the car manufacturer issued a “recall of the product from end users”.
