Toyo to Showcase 27 World-Debut Vehicles at SEMA Show’s Treadpass

Toyo to Showcase 27 World-Debut Vehicles at SEMA Show’s Treadpass

Toyo Tires will return to the SEMA Show in Las Vegas on Nov. 3-6. The Toyo Tires Treadpass will feature a curated collection of world-debut vehicles and give builders a platform to display new projects. Located between the Central and South Halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center, Treadpass will present vehicles in collaboration with their builders.

Toyo Tires Treadpass Vehicle Highlights

Treadpass will showcase 27 world-debut vehicles at this year’s SEMA Show. Featured vehicles include a race-inspired 1979 Porsche 935 with a 637-horsepower electric powertrain. The display also includes a 2027 Rolls-Royce Cullinan with a custom body kit making its North American debut.

For the second consecutive year, Toyo’s website will provide build highlights for all Treadpass vehicles. Details will include year, make and model, wheel and tire package, and other build information.

Life-Size Die-Cast Display

Toyo Tires is collaborating with Time Capsule, a B2B miniature-merchandise company specializing in die-cast models, on a life-size die-cast toy box.

Daniel Song of DRVNmind designed and built the feature vehicle, a 2014 Scion FRS (Toyota GT86). This year’s build features the first Neo86 conversion widebody kit outside the demo car built in Japan last year.

Toyo said the Neo86 incorporates styling cues inspired by the AE86. It also pays homage to the U.S.-built AE86 known as “Run Free.”

Additional build features include a Beams 3SGE swap with full ITBs from Panic Made. The car also uses custom high-rise headers from Dream Maker Goods.

The wheel and tire package includes Rays TE37V 18×10 wheels in Dash White. The wheels are paired with Toyo Proxes Sport R 255/35R18 tires.

“Over the years, Treadpass has been an incredible way for us to collaborate with top builders and create a one-of-a-kind experience at the SEMA Show,” said Stan Chen, deputy director, consumer marketing, Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. “We are thrilled to bring the activation back for its 13th year and deliver another unforgettable experience for attendees, while showcasing the largest culmination of world-debut cars at this year’s show.”

Leen Customs Collaboration

Toyo Tires will continue its collaboration with Leen Customs by bringing back limited-edition pins for this year’s show. Ten pins will be created for select Treadpass display vehicles. They will be distributed at designated times during the show.

An exclusive 11th pin will be available during the “Artist’s Meet” with Leen Customs founder Hansel Echeverria. The event takes place Wednesday, Nov. 4, from noon to 1 p.m.
