Dayco Expands Radiator Hose Line With 283 New Parts

Dayco is expanding its radiator hose line in response to key market indicators and growing demand. The company supplies engine products and drive systems to the automotive, industrial and aftermarket industries. The expansion will introduce 283 new hoses for complex vehicle applications.
Dayco Targets 90% Radiator Hose Coverage
The expansion will increase Dayco’s radiator hose coverage to 90% of vehicles in operation (VIO) by March 2027. That represents a 20% increase since 2025. Dayco will make 66 applications available in November and another 40 by year-end. The company will launch the remaining applications by the end of the first quarter of 2027.
The new part numbers include simple and branched hoses that meet stringent original equipment specifications for fit, form and function.
Market Trends Drive Hose Expansion
Industry trends helped drive Dayco’s hose line expansion. These include more vehicles approaching cooling system maintenance intervals. Today’s downsized turbocharged and high-performance engines also place greater demands on cooling systems and surrounding components.
“Between strong market drivers related to maintenance as well as an increase in demand, we prioritized an aggressive go-to-market strategy so we could introduce a significant number of new hose applications over the next several months,” said Jerry Reeves, head of product management for Dayco N.A. “This enables us to help our customers capture immediate market share while also enhancing our core value proposition.”
Automotive Hose Applications
Dayco’s automotive hose line includes simple and branched designs for radiators, heaters, exhaust vents, fuel systems and other applications.
The company uses EPDM compounds and other materials to manufacture hoses for transferring fluids or gases. These hoses serve applications involving corrosive substances and high-pressure environments.
