Nissan Sentra Spec-V Concept Is a SEMA Star Chock Full of NISMO Parts

October 28, 2026 · by APW Pipeline
  • Nissan has revealed three builds for the 2026 SEMA show, including a Sentra Spec-V concept.
  • The Spec-V concept is powered by the Sentra’s 2.0-liter four-cylinder, but this time with a turbocharger that helps produce 300 horsepower.
  • It also borrows parts from other performance Nissans, like the GT-R, Z, and Juke NISMO RS.

SEMA is an annual opportunity for automakers and aftermarket companies alike to show off wild creations and collaborations. Nissan is no stranger to this type of theater, and last year it teamed up with Forsberg Racing to reveal the NISMO GT-Z. For SEMA 2026, Nissan is pulling from the land of Japan and revealing not one, but three specially built cars: the Datsun S30 concept (pictured below on the left), the Project NAT2 SCCA Touring 2 Z (pictured below on the right), and the Sentra Spec-V concept.

The Sentra Spec-V concept is the one that really caught our attention. It’s a marriage of parts from various performance-focused Nissans over the years. Its Brembo brakes are inherited from the R35 GT-R, its six-speed manual transmission is sourced from the Juke NISMO RS, and its wheels are the same 19-inch LM-RS1s found on the Z NISMO, this time wrapped in 265-section-width Yokohama ADVAN NEOVA AD09 tires. The suspension is lifted from the last-generation Sentra NISMO, including its anti-roll bar coil-overs, but it’s tuned for track use with more aggressive spring rates and external reservoirs up front.

The powertrain is not plucked from some other Nissan model; it’s the same 2.0-liter four-cylinder found in the mainstream Sentra. However, this application has more oomph thanks to the addition of a turbocharger as well as upgraded internals and fuel system. A lightened flywheel and clutch kit are also part of the package. All that brings the Sentra Spec-V concept’s output to 300 horsepower, up from the normal Sentra’s 149.

Nissan gets nuts with the BOMEX widebody kit, which amplifies the Sentra’s already sporty styling. The unique styling includes a bumper with a wide mouth that reveals the added intercooler, and the side skirts feature a badass side-exit exhaust. The hood is custom too, with functional intakes and vents, and it’s all wrapped in panda spec, with a mostly gloss-white body that’s complemented by a black roof and rear bumper. The pièce de résistance of the build is the rear spoiler that was donated by the R35 GT-R NISMO.

There’s one more part adopted from the R35, with the supportive Recaro seats getting harnesses here. Nissan also swapped the Sentra’s steering wheel for a NISMO wheel and added some custom black interior accents. If you wanna see the Sentra Spec-V concept in person, it will be on display in the Central Hall at the Nissan booth at the SEMA show, which is being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from November 3–6.
