Dunlop Geomax EN92 Scoop Technology helps riders conquer sandy FIM 6DAYS Enduro centenary

The new Dunlop Geomax EN92 delivered strong performance in dry, dusty, and sandy conditions at the 100th FIM 6DAYS Enduro of Nations in Grandola, Portugal. Teams in both the World Trophy and Club Team categories relied on Dunlop’s latest enduro tyres and mousses for critical traction across six demanding days of off-road racing.
The dusty terrain led many riders to choose the new scoop tyre, which features Dunlop’s Reinforced Scoop Technology for superior penetration, acceleration, and braking on soft surfaces. Similar to the MX14 motocross tyre, the EN92 and EN92 SOFT are designed for versatile off-road capability, handling everything from loose sand to mud and wet soil.
“The conditions provided an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the performance of our new Geomax EN92,” said Roberto Finetti, marketing manager at Dunlop Motorcycle Europe. “With so much dust and sand, riders needed confidence under acceleration and braking. The new scoop pattern proved particularly effective.”
Beyond tyre performance, Dunlop supported grassroots competitors through the Dunlop Geomax Challenge, which attracted over 30 entries across nine nations. Italy’s Simone Cagnoni took top spot, followed by Australia’s Dylan McDonald and America’s Jaden Dahners.
Dunlop also achieved podium success in the FIM Women’s World Trophy, equipping Korie Steede of event-winning Team USA and Danielle McDonald of second-placed Team Australia.
FIM marketing director Fabio Muner commended the series’ long-standing collaboration with the tyre supplier, highlighting Dunlop’s dedication to riders, teams, and the global enduro community.
