With just two weeks to go, trade professionals are preparing for the Top Awards Finals Day, taking place on Saturday, 14 November at the Delphi Academy in Warwick. The event combines high-stakes national competition finals with a comprehensive showcase of aftermarket technology, featuring the UK’s leading technicians, apprentices, and garages battling live for the coveted Top Apprentice, Top Technician, and Top Garage titles.

Alongside the intense live competition bays, visitors can explore a vast array of cutting-edge equipment and business solutions. Snap-on will host its Diagnostics Live Tour Demo Truck alongside Topdon UK’s show van, while Hella demonstrates ADAS calibration and cybersecurity navigation. Technical insights continue with Varta covering modern battery management and JLM featuring DPF specialist Alan Landale’s masterclasses. For garage owners looking to boost efficiency, Garage Services Online will offer free Digital MOT Health Checks and Garage Hive will demonstrate advanced workshop management software.

Visitors can also network in the LKQ Euro Car Parts Relax & Connect Zone, test their strength with Castrol and The Race Group, and enjoy Ben’s Big Breakfast, sponsored by Hella, with donations supporting the automotive charity Ben.

Highlighting the industry’s rapid evolution, Jason Hickmott, sales and operations director at Snap-on Diagnostics and Garage Equipment UK, noted that the competition reflects the real technical ability required in modern workshops. Hickmott said: “The automotive aftermarket is evolving at an incredible pace, and this competition reflects real technical ability, tested on fault-finding and problem-solving that technicians face every day in the workshop.

“Finals Day is an invaluable learning experience. We encourage anyone in the sector to come down, explore the technology, talk through diagnostic challenges with our team, and see first-hand the incredible talent driving our trade forward.”

Daytime admission is free from 9:00 AM, with category winners announced later that evening at the Top Awards Dinner in Coventry.
