Big O Tires Opens 10th Albuquerque, NM Location

Leeds West Groups celebrated the grand opening of its 10th Big O Tires location in New Mexico on Oct. 22. The new Big O Tires Albuquerque store is located at 3130 Coors Blvd. NW.

The location is open for service from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The grand opening included a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a $1,000 check presentation to the 100 Club of New Mexico. The event also featured local catering and music from 100.3 The Peak.

“This opening marks our 10th Big O Tires location in New Mexico, and we’re proud of the relationships we continue to build here,” said Derek Wessels, CEO of Leeds West Groups. “For us, this is an investment in Albuquerque and in the people who call it home. We’re very proud to be part of this community and look forward to earning our neighbors’ trust for years to come.”

The Coors Boulevard store expands the company’s Albuquerque presence. Its team will focus on customer communication and dependable automotive service.

“Award-winning service means getting to know our neighbors and understanding what they need from us,” said Preston Brown, vice president, LWG Big O Tires. “People rely on their vehicles to get to work, take their kids to school, and manage their everyday lives. Now we can make that part of their day a little easier, and we take that responsibility seriously.”

Grand Opening Donation

As part of the grand opening, Big O Tires donated $1,000 to the 100 Club of New Mexico. The organization provides financial assistance to spouses and dependents of law enforcement officers and firefighters who die in the line of duty.

“We wanted community support to be part of this opening from the beginning,” Wessels said. “This $1,000 donation is a tangible way to thank and support the families of local first responders who have paid the ultimate price.”

“When a law enforcement officer or firefighter dies in the line of duty, their family needs support,” said Bill Henz, president of the 100 Club of New Mexico. “We’re grateful to Big O Tires for this donation, which helps us provide financial assistance to those families.”

Automotive Services and Grand Opening Offers

Grand opening specials include:

  • Up to $300 off select sets of tires;
  • $49.99 full synthetic oil change;
  • $19.99 synthetic blend oil change.

The offers are available for a limited time, and terms apply.

“Customers should expect a team focused on earning their trust through clear communication, dependable service, and respect for their time,” Wessels said. “At the end of the day, our goal is to keep vehicles safe and build trusting relationships.”
