Fuuse and Drax partner to help bp pulse fleet customers migrate to new EV charging infrastructure

Fuuse and Drax partner to help bp pulse fleet customers migrate to new EV charging infrastructure

Was BP ever serious about its “beyond petroleum” marketing slogan? It’s too early to say, but in July 2025, the oil giant decided to get out of the fleet EV charging market, leaving former customers unplugged, so to speak. Fortunately, other companies stepped in to help former bp pulse corporate customers migrate to new platforms.

Fuuse and Drax Electric Vehicles, part of energy provider Drax Group, have announced a partnership to support the transition of nearly 1,000 former bp pulse fleet depot-charging customers, which collectively operate more than 14,000 charging sockets.

Fuuse will lead the migration of the charging infrastructure to its platform, allowing fleets to retain and manage their existing charging equipment.

The partnership follows more than a year of hardware testing and platform development between bp’s EV charging business and Fuuse to prepare customers for the transition. Fuuse’s onboarding team will assess each customer’s charging infrastructure requirements, confirm service arrangements and guide customers through the migration process.

Through its partnership with Drax, Fuuse will provide customers with access to service and maintenance support. This includes continued support for existing hardware warranties and maintenance of previously installed charging infrastructure.

“Being selected as the migration partner reflects the work of our team and the capabilities of our platform,” said James Chapman, Strategic Sales Director at Fuuse. “Through our existing partnership with Drax, we can also provide hardware maintenance support while honoring existing warranties. This is about more than software. It’s about protecting customer investments, maintaining operational continuity and making the transition straightforward.”

“Ensuring former bp pulse fleet depot-charging customers can move forward with confidence is our priority,” said Adam Hall, Energy Services Director at Drax Electric Vehicles. “With nationwide field service capabilities and continued hardware warranty support, we can help keep charging infrastructure maintained, supported and operational.”
