Jayar Car Parts marks 50th anniversary with IAAF Annual Dinner sponsorship

Family-owned motor factor Jayar Car Parts has been named the official entertainment sponsor for the Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) Annual Conference and Awards Dinner 2026, coinciding with the company’s 50th anniversary in business.

The event, taking place on Thursday 3 December at The Vox, Resorts World Birmingham, brings together leaders from across the automotive aftermarket for networking, industry discussions, and the annual Aftermarket Federation Trade Awards (AFTAs). The evening’s entertainment will feature comedian Rob Beckett and an after-dinner DJ set from Martin Kemp.

The sponsorship caps a milestone year for Jayar, which recently acquired Independent Motor Factors (IMF) and expanded its branch network to over 70 locations. The company also hosted regional trade shows in Spalding and Poole to strengthen relationships with trade customers and suppliers.

Both Jayar and the IAAF share a focus on talent attraction, retention, and skills development across the sector.

“Reaching 50 years as a family-owned motor factor is a significant achievement, and we’re delighted that Jayar has chosen the IAAF Awards Dinner to celebrate its anniversary,” said Mark Field, chief executive of the IAAF.

Tom Curtis, general manager of Jayar Car Parts, added: “We are delighted to be reaffirming our commitment to the IAAF and championing the wider automotive aftermarket as we mark our 50-year anniversary.”
