MAHLE introduces new repair shop technology, expands parts portfolio at AAPEX

MAHLE has introduced a new digital repair shop platform, updated air-conditioning service equipment and expanded its filtration and heavy-duty engine parts portfolios at AAPEX 2026 in Las Vegas.

Among the announcements is the MAHLE Repair Shop Portal, a digital platform that provides technicians, service advisors and shop owners with access to product information, technical documentation, training courses, webinars and technical support.

The platform also includes MAHLE Intelligent Assistant (MIA), an AI-powered tool designed to assist with product searches and research. The portal can be accessed through smartphones, tablets and desktop computers.

“The aftermarket is becoming increasingly digital, making access to reliable information and technical expertise more important than ever,” said Philipp Grosse Kleimann, corporate executive vice-president and general manager of MAHLE Lifecycle and Mobility. “The new MAHLE Repair Shop Portal reflects our commitment to supporting customers throughout the entire service journey, providing a single destination for product information, training and technical knowledge to help them operate more efficiently and succeed in a rapidly changing market.”

MAHLE also unveiled its next generation of ArcticPRO air-conditioning service units, featuring automated, AI-assisted service processes, touchscreens measuring up to 10 inches and integrated audio and video tutorials.

The equipment will be available in four performance levels and supports R134a and R1234yf refrigerants, as well as future refrigerants. Connectivity features and automatic software updates are also included.

In filtration, MAHLE introduced its CareMetix Natural cabin air filter, which incorporates sheep’s wool into the filter medium. The company said the design reduces the product’s carbon footprint and the use of materials that can contribute to microplastic generation while filtering particles, pollutants and volatile organic compounds.

MAHLE has also added more than 90 part numbers to its North American filtration portfolio, covering oil, air, fuel, cabin air and transmission filters for light- and heavy-duty vehicles.

The company also introduced 13 heavy-duty engine kits featuring CLEVITE engine components and MAHLE gaskets. The kits are engineered to original equipment specifications for commercial vehicle applications.

“As technology reshapes mobility and transforms traditional repair shops into increasingly sophisticated service centers, our commitment to delivering OE-quality parts remains unchanged,” said Christian Karner, general manager, MAHLE Lifecycle and Mobility, North America. “We are building for the future while staying true to the engineering expertise and quality standards that have long defined our aftermarket business. For us, innovation and tradition move forward together.”
