Montway hires former Wheels COO as new CEO

Montway Auto Transport named a new CEO on Wednesday.

Replacing Tom Gartland in that position is Ahsan Rahim, who was most recently chief operating officer at Wheels, Inc.

Gartland, who became CEO in 2023, will continue as executive chairman on the board.

“Leading Montway has been incredibly rewarding, and I’m proud of what our team has built together,” Gartland said in a news release.

“We have strengthened the business, expanded our capabilities and continued to raise the bar for customer service and innovation,” Gartland said. “Ahsan is an experienced leader with a strong track record, and I’m confident he is the right person to lead Montway’s next chapter. I’m excited to see what Ahsan and the team can accomplish in this next phase.”

Rahim added: “Montway has built a strong reputation for customer service, operational excellence and innovation. I’m honored to join the company at this exciting time and to build on the strong foundation Tom and the team have created. I look forward to working closely with Montway’s employees, customers and partners to strengthen our culture, advance our technology capabilities and drive continued growth.”
