Radar Tires Becomes MPBL’s Exclusive Tire Sponsor

Radar Tires announced a multi-year partnership with the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) as its exclusive tire sponsor. The Radar Tires MPBL agreement was signed in General Santos City at the residence of league founder Emmanuel “Manny” Pacquiao.
Radar Tires MPBL Partnership Supports League Activities
Pacquiao founded the MPBL in 2018 to provide young Filipinos with opportunities through basketball. The league uses a home-and-away format and free-to-air broadcasts to bring games to communities across the Philippines.
Meanwhile, Radar Tires said the partnership aligns with its existing community initiatives. These include its work with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and partnerships involving golf, tennis and off-road racing.
The Philippines is also one of Radar Tires’ key Asia-Pacific markets. According to the company, Filipino drivers and dealers have responded strongly to the brand.
“In basketball, just like in life, we go further when we move forward together. Through our partnership with Radar Tires, we share a common mission — to support Filipino talent, strengthen our communities, and give our athletes the opportunity to chase their dreams. Because when we invest in sports, we invest in the future of our Filipino youth,” said Emmanuel “Manny” Pacquiao.
Partnership Reflects Community Initiatives
“Giving back to the community has always been in our DNA. It is who we are at Radar Tires, and it is a commitment we have carried across every country we operate in,” said GS Sareen, President and CEO of Omni United.
“The Philippines holds a special place in our hearts. For over 17 years, Filipino drivers and dealers have welcomed our brand, and this partnership is our way of coming closer to them and the communities they call home. In the MPBL, we saw far more than a basketball league. Across eight seasons, Manny Pacquiao and his team have built something truly remarkable: a grassroots league that uplifts young Filipinos and their communities through sport, guides young people toward a positive path, and gives rising talent the chance to be seen. Their mission reflects the very beliefs that guide us, and that shared purpose is what makes this partnership so meaningful. We have full faith in Manny Pacquiao’s vision and in the MPBL’s commitment to the next generation, and we are proud to stand alongside this exceptional league as it continues to grow.”
“The MPBL was built to bring basketball closer to Filipinos across the country. Partnerships like this help us continue that mission while creating more opportunities for our teams, players, and communities. We welcome Radar Tires to the MPBL family and look forward to growing together,” said Joe Ramos, MPBL chief executive officer.
“Radar Tires coming on board reflects the growing commercial appeal of the MPBL. Partnerships of this scale strengthen the league and create greater value for our fans and partners as we move toward Season 9,” said Emmer Oreta, MPBL commissioner.
Exclusive Sponsorship Begins With Season 8 Playoffs
The partnership begins with the remainder of the Season 8 playoffs and finals before continuing into Season 9. Under the agreement, Radar Tires will receive exclusive sponsorship rights within the tire category.
In addition, the company will gain brand visibility across broadcasts, livestreams, digital platforms, and on-court placements.
The 2027 season is expected to feature 28 teams playing approximately 400 games. The agreement will also expand Radar Tires’ presence across the Philippines.
Radar Tires Maintains Other Sports Partnerships
Radar Tires also maintains sports partnerships outside the Philippines. Its portfolio includes Cricket South Africa, the Singapore Golf Association and Major League Baseball’s Texas Rangers.
Additionally, the company sponsors Australian cricketer Michael Clarke and supports professional and amateur athletes in tennis, and golf.
