Schwartz Advisors’ Cruickshank Named CAWA Vice Chairman

Schwartz Advisors partner Brian Cruickshank took the oath of office as vice chairman of the California Automotive Wholesalers’ Association (CAWA). The ceremony took place Nov. 1 during AAPEX in Las Vegas. Cruickshank joins David Simms, NAPA Auto Parts (chairman); Jason Caldwell, RPS Marketing (treasurer); and Riley Pratt, Genuine Parts Co. (secretary). Dan Hanson Jr., Blue Streak Electronics, serves as immediate past chair.

During his three-decade career in the motor vehicle aftermarket, Cruickshank has held numerous volunteer leadership positions. He has served on committees within the Auto Care Association and the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA) Board of Governors. His involvement also includes the University of the Aftermarket Foundation and other industry organizations.

“Brian’s involvement with CAWA reflects our firm’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the industry while keeping a close pulse on the issues and trends shaping the motor vehicle aftermarket,” said SA managing partner Rick Schwartz, who also serves on the Auto Care Association Board of Directors.
