Advance Auto Parts Opens New Store in Newnan, Ga.

Advance Auto Parts opened its newest store in Newnan, expanding access to parts, tools and expertise for local drivers and automotive professionals. The company marked the opening of the store at 216 Bullsboro Dr. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside local officials and representatives from West Georgia Technical College who were on site to accept a donation for the school’s automotive technology program.

The donation will help students gain hands-on experience, training and career opportunities through the College’s automotive technology programs. Skilled automotive technicians continue to be in high demand, with approximately 70,000 openings projected annually through 2034, according to U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

“We’re excited to open our newest store in Newnan and continue serving customers across the area,” said Mike Fogarty, Rregional vice president, Advance Auto Parts. “This location helps us better support local drivers and professional customers with convenient access to the parts, and products they rely on. We’re also proud to support students at West Georgia Technical College and strengthen our connection to the Newnan community.”

“Community support plays an important role in career and technical education,” said Brittney Wells, executive director of institutional advancement at West Georgia Technical College. “We are grateful to Advance Auto Parts for this contribution, which helps support our students as they gain practical experience and explore opportunities in the automotive industry.”

The new store also serves as a market hub – a centralized facility designed to improve parts availability and same-day fulfillment across a network of stores, enhancing hard parts coverage for professional customers.
