Goodyear reports $238 million net loss

After markets closed on 4 November 2026, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company reported its third quarter 2026 results. Net sales were $4.5 billion, down 2.3 per cent year-on-year (YoY). Tyre unit volume amounted to 38.6 million units, decreasing 3.3 per cent year-on-year, driven by replacement market weakness partially offset by higher OE volumes. But all that resulted in a $238 million net loss. However, the company also reported segment operating income of $174 million in the third quarter of 2026, albeit down from $287 million from one year ago.
