MAHLE Showcases 4 New Innovations at AAPEX

MAHLE Showcases 4 New Innovations at AAPEX

MAHLE is highlighting four innovations designed to support repair shops and aftermarket professionals at the 2026 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX). Among the updates is the MAHLE Repair Shop Portal, an all-in-one platform providing technical support, training resources, product information, and access to MAHLE manufacturing expertise.

“The aftermarket is becoming increasingly digital, making access to reliable information and technical expertise more important than ever,” said Philipp Grosse Kleimann, corporate executive vice president and general manager of MAHLE Lifecycle and Mobility. “The new MAHLE Repair Shop Portal reflects our commitment to supporting customers throughout the entire service journey, providing a single destination for product information, training, and technical knowledge to help them operate more efficiently and succeed in a rapidly changing market.”

Digital Knowledge and Support for the Modern Repair Shop

The new MAHLE Repair Shop Portal serves as a central digital hub for technicians, service advisors, and repair shop owners, bringing together product information, technical documentation, training courses, webinars, industry updates, services, and expert knowledge on a single platform. A key component is MIA (MAHLE Intelligent Assistant), an AI-powered assistant that supports product searches and research tasks, MAHLE said. The responsive design enables access across smartphones, tablets, and desktop devices.

New Generation of ArcticPRO A/C Service Units

MAHLE is introducing the next generation of ArcticPRO A/C service units with large touchscreen displays, intuitive user guidance, and integrated audio and video tutorials. The redesigned units are built for modern repair shops with four performance levels to align with different workshop sizes and service requirements.

The models support R134a, R1234yf, and future refrigerants, and feature fully automated, AI-assisted service processes. Touchscreens up to 10 inches, connectivity features, and automatic software updates aim to simplify operation for technicians and reduce training time.

Filtration Portfolio Expansion With CareMetix Natural

MAHLE expanded its air, oil, cabin air, and fuel filter portfolio, including the CareMetix Natural cabin air filter. For the first time, MAHLE is incorporating sheep’s wool into the filter medium to help reduce the product’s carbon footprint while maintaining filtration performance. The filter removes particles, pollutants, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) to provide cleaner, low-odor cabin air, and is designed to help reduce materials that can contribute to microplastic generation, the company said.

In North America, MAHLE added more than 90 new part numbers across oil, air, fuel, cabin air, and transmission filters. The new applications provide coverage for a wide range of light- and heavy-duty vehicles, including popular models from Chevrolet, Ford, Audi, GMC, BMW, Nissan, and Toyota.

Heavy-Duty Engine Kits for Demanding Repairs

MAHLE unveiled 13 heavy-duty engine kits custom-made for engines from top manufacturers. Featuring CLEVITE engine parts and MAHLE gaskets, each kit is engineered to OE specifications, the company said.

“As technology reshapes mobility and transforms traditional repair shops into increasingly sophisticated service centers, our commitment to delivering OE-quality parts remains unchanged,” said Christian Karner, general manager, MAHLE Lifecycle and Mobility, North America. “We are building for the future while staying true to the engineering expertise and quality standards that have long defined our aftermarket business. For us, innovation and tradition move forward together.”
