Russia sets 35 per cent import duty on tyre rubber crumb

Russia will apply a 35 per cent import duty to rubber crumb produced by mechanically shredding used tyres from countries it designates as “unfriendly”. The measure covers imports originating in the UK, the US and Canada, and most EU member states (Hungary and Slovakia are exempt), as well as several other countries in Europe and Asia-Pacific.
