The BMW iX3 smashed its EPA range rating, driving well over 400 miles in a real-world test

BMW’s new iX3 outperformed the Volvo EX60 and Mercedes-Benz GLC EV, driving well over 400 miles during a real-world range test.
BMW iX3 beats EPA range rating in real-world test
In a recent nationally representative survey, BMW found that Americans want more EV range than they actually need.
The study found that 73% consider 75 miles of range, or less, enough to cover their daily driving. Meanwhile, 42% said they would require at least 300 miles of range to consider an EV.
Another 53% said they would be more likely to consider an EV if it could add about 150 miles of range in 10 minutes.
