Your Fleet Experience Deserves a Vote in the 2027 Fleet Awards

You know which vehicles hold up, which configurations fit the job, and which upfits make a crew’s day easier. Now it’s time to put that experience on the ballot.

Voting is open for Automotive Fleet’s and Work Truck’s 2027 vehicle and upfit awards, recognizing the cars, trucks, SUVs, commercial vans, and upfit packages that meet fleet needs. All three ballots close December 31, 2026, and each offers voters early access to a practical fleet resource.

Whether you manage passenger vehicles, vocational trucks, or a mix of both, explore the awards below and participate in the ballots that match your fleet experience.

Which vehicles earn their place in your fleet? Automotive Fleet’s 2027 Fleet Car, Truck & SUV of the Year awards invite corporate and commercial fleet managers to recognize the vehicles that deliver for their operations.

Consider ownership costs, reliability, safety, driver experience, service support, and suitability for daily fleet work when making your selections.

New this year, the top three finalists in each category will be announced in January 2027, with the winners named in February.

Your voter preview: Get early access to Automotive Fleet’s analysis of 55 fleet-relevant vehicle nameplates using Vincentric’s 2024 and 2026 ownership-cost data. Explore which vehicle categories saw the biggest cost increases and how model and powertrain choices could help contain expenses.

Two awards, one ballot. Work Truck’s 2027 Medium-Duty Truck of the Year and Commercial Van of the Year awards recognize vehicles that meet the demands of commercial fleet operations.

Professional fleet managers and fleet decision-makers are invited to consider durability, quality, servicing, maintenance, lifecycle costs, and how well each vehicle fits the work.

The top five medium-duty truck finalists and top three commercial van finalists will be revealed in February, with both winners announced at Work Truck Week 2027.

The vehicle is only part of the equation. The right upfit helps crews organize equipment, access what they need, and get the job done.

Work Truck’s 2027 Upfit Package of the Year Awards, sponsored by LEGEND, invite professional fleet managers and fleet decision-makers to review packages across four categories:

  • Light-Duty Truck.
  • Medium-Duty Truck, new this year.
  • SUV.
  • Van.

Consider how each package supports the people using it, addresses the job’s requirements, and stands up to daily fleet operations.

Three Ballots, One Deadline

Already voted in one program? If your responsibilities span other vehicle types or upfits, bring that experience to another relevant ballot.

Voting closes December 31, 2026. Help recognize the vehicles and upfit packages that earn their keep, and pick up useful resources for your next fleet decision along the way.
