Mahindra Scorpio-N Facelift Adds Digital Cockpit and Advanced Cameras

Automotive manufacturer Stellantis N.V. competitor Mahindra has introduced an updated version of its Scorpio-N SUV in the Indian market. While the exterior styling remains largely unchanged, the 2026 update brings significant technological upgrades to the interior, aiming to enhance the driving experience and safety features.

Under the hood of the refresh is a completely revised digital cockpit. The previous analog-digital hybrid setup has been removed in favor of a modern twin-screen layout. This includes a free-standing 12.3-inch infotainment display paired with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a substantial upgrade over the outgoing 8-inch and 7-inch units.

For off-road enthusiasts, Mahindra has integrated a new software feature called Adventure Statistics. This system provides real-time telemetry, displaying pitch and roll angles, g-force, engine output, and an altimeter. Additionally, the vehicle now features a larger panoramic sunroof on higher trim levels, increasing natural light within the three-row cabin.

Visibility and parking assistance have been improved through the addition of a 540-degree surround-view camera system. The vehicle also rides on new 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels with a diamond-cut finish. Despite the internal enhancements, the ladder-frame chassis and bodywork carry over unchanged.

In the Indian market, the Scorpio-N is positioned as an accessible rugged SUV, with pricing starting at 13.69 lakh ($14,400).
